Kiruna in Arctic Lapland is a unique destination with a vast and beautiful wilderness that is best explored on an eco-friendly dog sledding trip.
Active Lapland operates in the Swedish part of Arctic Lapland, 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. Our winter lasts from November through April and offers ideal conditions for dog sledding adventures, northern lights viewings and picture perfect Christmas holidays.
While we are far away, we are easily accessible. Kiruna, our nearest town, is served by daily flights from Stockholm and by the national railway. We are also within easy reach of the world-famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, which is situated just 5 minutes from our kennel.
